Business Development Manager
Our client is a young and fast growing provider of mobile content services to consumers worldwide. They are active in areas of performance marketing, mobile subscription services, behavioral targeting, real time bidding and programmatic media buying.
We are looking for an industry experienced, enthusiastic, goal oriented and proactive Business Development Manager to grow the revenue and market expansion of our mobile business in the European market.
As a Business Development Manager you need to ensure smooth operation and billing of our services by monitoring and analyzing the performance, optimizing, managing compliance, troubleshooting, customer retention and escalation of issues to the relevant department and/or partners.
You should have at least five years of experience working in the mobile content and billing industry. As Business Development Manager you work in our Amsterdam office, but also closely cooperate with your colleagues in Kuala Lumpur. What will you be doing?
• Managing, dealing and finding gateways & mobile operators in potential & existing markets and build long term relationship with them
• Identify potential new markets and roll it out for our mobile content services
• Developing a revenue growth strategy in your markets with the Marketing Manager of your markets
• Monitor, analyze competitors’ services and follow trends and developments in mobile content services and technologies
• Identify opportunities to enhance, innovate or optimize the existing connectivity/market (i.e. billing, flows, customer retention, risk management
• A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or similar
• At least 5 year working experience in a mobile content industry
• In depth knowledge of mobile billing and a passion for (mobile) internet
• Analytical and detail orientated and able to translate analysis into actions
• An enthusiastic team player and a strong communicator in English
• Goal oriented, proactive, self-starting and getting things done mentality
